True Ninja Traditions is a collection of three of the most profound historical works on ninjutsu to have come out of Japan. They have been brought together here for the first time to an English speaking audience and contain some of the greatest ninja secrets to have ever been written down. These works are: The three Shinobi Scrolls of the Gunpo Jiyoshu samurai manual, written in or before 1612, a document approved by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first great shogun of Japan, The Yoshimori Hyakushu or the Shinobi-uta which consists of 100 ninja poems that have been attributed to the 12th century tactician, Yoshimori and are considered to be the oldest teachings on ninjutsu to exist and finally the Ninpiden or Secret Ninja Transmission by Hattori Hanzo & Others in which the main body of the work is dated to 1560 and is considered to be one of the three great ninja manuals. Together these sort after scrolls will take you into the world of medieval Japan and divulge the shinobi secrets of espionage, ninja battlefield tactics and much more.

This was the book I was talking about in class.
"There is basically no one in America who has the experience in shurikenjutsu that Danny Fletcher has, this book is a must buy. As someone who owns basically every book on shurikenjutsu ever written I can say this is one of two English language books worth buying, the other being Shuriken-do by Shirakami Ikkuken. The author is an expert on Japanese martial arts and culture with experiences no other authors who have tried to cash in on the hype of the shuriken can come close to. Danny has not only trained in the Bujinkan and learned the shurikenjutsu of Togakure ryu, which is covered greatly in this book, but has gained the knowledge of the use of a huge variety of shuriken from other ryu-ha through his study with Otsuka sensei of the Meifu Shinkage Ryu, one of the few extant shurikenjutsu ryu. This book will teach you the use of basically all forms of shuriken from senban, to jujiken, to bo shuriken and even the use of obscure items like the matsubagata of iga ryu. Also covered is the use of shuriken in shokenjutsu (use of shuriken as a handheld weapon in close combat), as well as sword forms with shuriken. You will be able to study the basic kata of Meifu Shinage Ryu, and hopefully seek out a dojo to train this art and understand its higher level teachings. This book is a must have for ANYONE who is interested in REAL NINJUTSU and REAL SHURIKENJUTSU. "

Been thinking of picking this one up for a while looks interesting.
"Discover how to track and stalk any living thing in any environment, including woodland, marsh, jungle and desert. The reader will learn how to: Interpret animal, human and vehicle signs. Preserve night vision. Use time frames to eliminate misleading signs. Detect quarry when they backtrack or circle around. Understand how time and weather affect signs. Spot intentionally misleading signs. The skills of observation, memory and analysis that a tracker employs are essential not only for the military and law enforcement agencies but are also invaluable for search and rescue teams, scouts, youth leaders, outdoor pursuit teachers, bird-watchers, ramblers, farmers, livestock owners and game keepers.
